i'm distracted

[nice to meet you distracted, i'm eponymous]

the reason i'm distracted, is that last night i spent the whole period of shut-eye (six hours) sat in my private cinema-for-one watching a continuous showing of the most amazing brain film i've ever created while comatose. The whole thing ran like a film with beginning, middle and end, had first rate FX, heroes, moral balance and a happy, if slightly odd ending.

i woke up about 5am thinking that was the most creative i've ever been in my life either awake or asleep and i must make notes on all the scenes i can remember so i can recreate them in book form, went for a quick piss and fell asleep again. While asleep again, i then mentally made notes on each scene i'd seen in the previous dream, the list ran to about 35 scenes of note and i jotted them all down, i then woke up again about half six and realised for the previous hour and a half i'd been writing notes on dream paper which tends to evaporate in the presence of consciousness. I then spent the next twenty minutes trying to remember the scenes i'd been remembering for the hour and half before that as seen in the previous six hours, and working some structure around the scenes so it'll all hang together.

first job at work today was to write down everything i can remember and to turn it into a screenplay or book.

given the amount of cinematic sequelised toss flying around today, by comparison i've got a decent film on my hands if it's made right. If Neil Gaiman had written it, people would be falling over themselves to buy the rights, i'm no Gaiman but maybe i can pitch it right....

I wonder if playing GT4 last night for two hours before bed (one race consisting of 60 laps) had concentrated my brain activity to the point where it unwound in the most spectacular manner possible once the racing was over.

it's even possible i may have latent talent somewhere in my physiology

eponymous - pony mouse + latent - talent = odd

or zero, depending on your background.

i think the answer is odd.

or leopard, or possibly guava.
