People are starting to piss me off even more than usual, i'm sure it's building up in the population and at some point, once critical mass has been reached, a deluge of piss poor behaviour will follow.

When confronted by something unknown, you should seek to find out the qualities of the unknown to ascertain whether it really is unknown or just something known in a different shape, what you should not do is run, hide, squeak in fear and close yourself off, that's piss poor behaviour, and leads to complications in adulthood.

The number of people i've encountered using the run/hide/squeak option is increasing, it's like some aliens have visited this planet and removed all the chutzpah that may have once resided here, welcome back to the time of the invertebrates, no spines here, you're safe to invade, please carry on.

"oh but i don't like confrontation" they cry, "i want to avoid confronting anything in life be it people, situations, my personal demons or just the fucking obvious". If you never confront, you'll never move on and forever you'll be crippled with fears you can't get past because you'll not confront anything, "oh, but what if it all goes wrong for me, it's better that i just hide here until it's passed, waa waa waaa" then pick yourself up, dust yourself off, learn from the experience and resolve to never get fucked over like that again. The other option is to die a timid, old, scared person who never pushed the envelope in case they got a papercut, boo-fucking-hoo.

If i don't start seeing some big metaphorical brass balls going on in this diary community, this country and this planet in general i'm going to kick the fuck off, and i know for sure that there's no-one who's going to stand up to me because they've all fucked off to hide and squeak.
